"I have worked with Doug Greiwe on my two homes. Both totally different. He listen to our vision but took us soaring! Details, creative lighting design, custom fabrics, antique features. I could go on but what I really want to say is he made our dreams come true! The memories, cozy areas that truly are "family" rooms. My special office where I have held such meaningful meetings. Bedrooms where the girls dance around feeling like they are little princesses. Every room, every sq/ft is our home! A home designed by an absolute genius with a huge heart! I guess you want something simple: Doug is the "Walt Disney" of interior/exterior design!"

Barry Bortz Cincinnati, OH

"Doug has worked with us on four houses; McLean, VA, Alamo, CA, Northport, MI and Dallas, TX. He and his staff are a dream to work with and spot on with color, scale and design. I wouldn't dream of working with anyone else!"

Design philosophy

Doug's involvement begins while the home is in the conceptual phase. He collaborates with the client, architect and builder to create a home that reflects his clients' tastes and lifestyle. In every one of his designs, the objects, patterns, textures and colors are precisely balanced. "It's important that a client aligns themselves with a designer who shares the same vision. This brings the best possible outcome."

He says, "Experience and knowledge are the backbone to any project. Knowing how to mix different furniture and antiques, whether traditional or modern, is imperative because each client's tastes and preferences are different."

Doug believes that a successful design is more than just a look. "It's about feeling a sense of tranquility and comfort. The result is a synergy that reflects the personality of the individual client."
